I admit, I've been itching to pull out this Kate Spade Clutch! I actually fell in love with the print a few months ago and bought the clutch and somehow didn't end up photographing it until now. If you know me at all - you know that I am secretly explicitly addicted to all things lace, floral, and Kate Spade. This being 2/3 makes it pretty much impossible to pry out of my fingers. I don't care if it's Fall or snowing outside - floral is a year-round print. Wouldn't you agree?

I believe this is the last of it. My last outfit post with my long hair, sad? It's okay, I am a little too. But this is exciting for me! After 10 years, It's an exciting time to experiment with my new look. I'm trying new tools, new products, and may even add color (say whaa?) -- okay, okay I'm getting ahead of myself. My weekend plan is to figure out how to work a hair wand and perhaps this time I won't burn off the first two layers of skin on my shoulder - still recovering from that. Wish me luck!

It's cold in the office. Really cold. Actually, it's cold everywhere. [yes, i'm in Atlanta] I'm just one of those people who should walk around with a personal heater blanket wrapped around them all the time. Lucky for me, this wookie-style vest does the job - and is more acceptable in public than my snuggie. It's pretty much what i've been living in all winter-long. 

I hope that groundhog is right... I miss my sundresses.

Whoa, it's been a rough week. I've been in and out of feeling sick all week and can't seem to shake this. The good news it that the weather is finally consistently sweater-weather and being bundled up in public is now acceptable.

I tried two different fall trends in this look. Can you find them? One is the messy cuff. I've mentioned the cuff on my blog before and it wasn't until I went to the Fab'rik denim event, a few weeks ago, that I spoke with other bloggers about methods of cuffing. The messy cuff is made with 2-3 smaller cuffs where you rollup first and then roll halfway down. Here, winging it will work just fine  - but in case you were curious about the different types of cuffs, there is a great tutorial here!

I picked up this sweater dress almost 2 years ago from Forever21. I immediately gravitated towards the subtle color block pattern and was thrilled when I (re)discovered it - tags attached - in the back of my closet this week. Also, I seem to be getting a ton of use out of this Purple Peridot chain bib necklace! It really does go with everything, but weighs down your neck just a bit. Sigh, what can you do? Pain is beauty.

Happy Friday! After two weeks of vacation, this week felt like it would never end! Lucky for me, I have a low-key weekend ahead that will hopefully spare time for some much needed wedding planning! Since i've been engaged for almost 2 years already, the fact that my wedding is a year away doesn't seem to be hitting me. In the back of my mind i'm certain that I have all the time in the world, when in reality, getting married on a holiday weekend in what seems to be the 'year of weddings' is quite a hassle already. Sigh, wish me luck! Any former brides wanna share some advice?

FAUX LEATHER JACKETS FROM FOREVER 21

Last week I headed to the mall in hopes of trading out my iPhone 5 for a new battery (boo, turns out my battery is indeed operating properly - but still sucks). I ducked into the newly constructed two story Forever 21 and found myself loving their new faux leather jackets. I picked up two with the intent that one might fit properly and when I tried them on, I fell in love with both. Moment of truth, I thought about posting a picture on instagram and letting you guys vote... but I didn't have enough time. So I texted my 4 best girlfriends and told them I needed a verdict: one, the other, or both! I'm lucky enough that my friends have just as little willpower as I do, and happily agreed that it was okay to purchase both (however, apparently I'm on a shopping ban for the rest of the month).  Worth it? Totally. What's your verdict? Which would you pick?
