Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day / Galentine's Day / SAD / Ice Cream + Rom Com day / Regular Saturday - Whatever you celebrated, I hope it was great. I felt especially productive this weekend because I think that we finalized our Save The Dates! It's something that I have been meaning to do but i'm so indecisive that it's taken months. However - we made some progress this weekend and I think that I might have designed - the one.  Can't wait to share it with you guys soon!

I've been contemplating sharing the wedding planning experience on my blog. I know I found it super helpful when Lauren Conrad shared tidbits on her blog last year (because I follow it religiously) would you guys be interested in reading about my journey to the alter?

PUFFER VEST + 3 CHEAP DATES PERFECT FOR FALL

CHAMBRAY SHIRT: GAP - SIMILAR HERE - $18   //   SKINNY JEANS: AEO - SIMILAR HERE - $ 25  //   TALL BOOTS - c/o ARIAT - SAME HERE - $265   //   BLUE PUFFER VEST - SAME HERE, SIMILAR HERE - $40   //   GREEN ENVELOPE CLUTCH - eBAY - SAME HERE - $5

These cold temperatures may have you heading inside, but embrace the outdoors and take advantage of these 3 insanely cheap fall date ideas!

1. PUMPKIN PICKING AT THE PATCH
They are on every corner. Spend a Saturday afternoon driving around and stop by your local pumpkin patches and choose your own. I always like the little ones with some character!

2. SCARY MOVIE MARATHON
Not a fan of the haunted house? Take a seat in your own living room for the night of horror. My favorite? The old school trilogies- a Scream marathon would be perfect! The terror might even make you laugh.

3. CORN MAZE
Take a group of friends out and head to a corn maze. For added drama, pretend like your in the Maze Runner or the last challenge of the TriWizard Tournament!

WRAP BLOUSE: White Surplice Top

WHITE BLOUSE: F21 - SIMILAR HERE - $38   //   BOYFRIEND JEANS: AEO - SAME HERE - $25   //   GREEN CLUTCH: eBAY - SAME HERE - $5   //
LEOPARD HEELS: DSW - SAME HERE - $70

Well, Fall has officially taken off in Atlanta. It's cold - I mean, a southern's igloo (i.e. 59 degrees). On the plus side, it's perfect running weather! Early morning and late night runs are the best and I can't wait to get back at it. Before I took the summer off to dance (cardio is cardio), I was running close to 10 miles a week which may not seem like a lot, but for someone who got a B in P.E. - i'll admit it. It was a huge accomplishment. I'm hoping that 2015 is the year I do my first 5k, no better time then now to start training!

Are you a runner or do you scurry from the idea? What helps?! Send me your suggestions!

TRENDY TULIP SKIRT

TULIP SKIRT: F21 - SIMILAR HERE - $40   //   HEELS: F21 - SIMILAR HERE - $95   //   COBALT BLUE TOP: BANANA REPUBLIC - SIMILAR HERE - $50   //   GREEN CLUTCH: eBay - SAME HERE- $5   //   NECKLACE: eBAY - SAME HERE (#42) - $4   //   WRAPPED LINK BRACELET: c/o VERA BRADLEY - SAME HERE - $32   //   IN THE MIX BRACELET: c/o VERA BRADLEY - SAME HERE - $42

These last few days have been such a blur and due to a lack of sleep (& wi-fi) I wasn't able to blog at all! I hope you all were able to follow my trip to Chicago for my dance competition through Instagram. My team and I had been preparing for this since June and we just finished the 3 day national competition in Chicago. I'm happy to announce that we came in 2nd place and brought home the silver medal! The first place team was comprised of a great group of guys who happen to also be from ATL and good friends of mine - so even more to celebrate! I sincerely enjoyed being back on the stage after 3 years, and can't wait to keep the traditional alive for next year -- but in the meantime, being back on a schedule sounds pretty stellar.

SHIFT STYLE NAVY SHIRT DRESS

DRESS: F21 - SAME HERE - $25   //   BELT: F21 - SIMILAR HERE - $28   //   GREEN CLUTCH: EBAY - SAME HERE - $5   //
HEELS: LC BY LAUREN CONRAD AT KOHLS - SIMILAR HERE - $40
“Devotion,” Robert Frost
The heart can think of no devotion
Greater than being shore to the ocean –
Holding the curve of one position,
Counting an endless repetition.

I'm not the biggest fan of poetry. However, every so often there will be a quote or prose that catches my eye and this is one that I felt I had to share. In true poetry fashion, interpretation is always subjective. I took this poem to define devotion through symbolism of the relationship of the waves to the ocean. The constant push back-and-forth is everlasting but never tiresome. I believe that true devotion is not constantly titillating or new. It's an endless number of devout acts, most repetitive, done out of love and loyalty.

Happy Friday.
