When I first looked for a faux fur vest, I thought I wanted something cropped. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled onto this faux fur vest from Forever 21 (years ago, but it's restocked here) and loved it. The longline look is perfect to pair with dresses and longer blouses and the hood is a nice feature to have. Not to mentioned, it's so warm! Morale of the story, you never know what you are going to like!

So, it's been about a month since I received these amazing jeans & boots from Zappos, and the only thing that's changed is that I am even more obsessed with them. Paige Denim has a reputation and it's well deserved - you can feel the quality of the jean to the touch. As someone who rarely wears jeans, I think investing in one quality pair makes a lot of sense. There is longitivtiy in the brand and when you break the numbers down, it really is worth it. Not to mention, Zappos has an extraordinary shipping/return policy. I got my order within 2 days of placing it! 

The Freebird Bolo boots were the perfect pair for me. The dual zipper detail is actually really unique because I can adjust the fit of the boot - zipped up all the way for a more snug, sleek look and zipped down for a relaxed fit. Being as small as I am, a heel is a must. I loved the stacked heel on this boot because it gave me height without the discomfort of feeling like I was in heels all day. Perfection.

I can't get enough of my Paige jeans! The fabric is incredibly soft and I literally my go-to for denim since Zappos delivered them to my door a month ago. The perfect pairing? Freebird boots. This time I opted to accessorize with cable-knit socks for a more snug fit - loved the layers when it's so cold outside. 

Of course, blush is my favorite color right now and my wardrobe shows it. This blush faux fur vest was such a steal and feels way more expensive then it is. That's a win.

Happy Saturday! I had to share one of my favorite looks of the week. This Chicwish dress landed me in the Jezebel Magazine's Best- Dressed Atlanta list in September, so it's obviously a keeper. I decided to dress it up for fall with a longline faux fur vest and nude pumps. This ensemble kept me warm and trendy. How do you transition your favorite summer pieces to fall?

Last night at the Fab'rik Suwanee event, we had a casual roundtable where each of the fabulous bloggers shared their favorite fall trend. It's no surprise that leather, faux fur, and plaid were the big winners this season. The event was so great and I always enjoy meeting people in our local community. WEDNESDAY WISHLIST: Printed Tops Under $50

I am a strong believer that you need a few staples in your wardrobe and a good printed blouse is one of them. The easiest version of this is a basic plaid top, like number 1 & 3, for those cable knit sweaters and (faux) fur vests. However, pairing a soft print like number 2 under a black blazer (tucked in) and bold jewelry can take your outfit from boring to bracing in an instant!

If you are a cardigan enthusiast, try a daring print like number 4 or 5 to wear under the cardi of your choice. I would wear a soft grey with number 4 and a mustard yellow with number 5. Add jeans and riding boots to any of these ensembles for an easy chic fall look!

Confession time, I wore this outfit a wee bit too early. With no exaggeration, at least 7 people told me "You know it's not that cold outside." Yah, I get it. We live in Atlanta when it's freezing in April and 80 degrees in October. Well, truth be told I couldn't wait to slip into this fuzzy warm pullover. Sure I was a little warm, but hell, I was comfy.
