TANGERINE BLAZER

TANGERINE BLAZER: F21 - SIMILAR HERE - $40   //   GREY TANK: H&M - SAME HERE - $24   //   NECKLACE: c/o VERA BRADLEY - SAME HERE - $38   //   HEELS: GUESS - SIMILAR HERE - $46   //   PAIGE DENIM: c/o ZAPPOS - SAME HERE- $169

Believe it or not,  I've owned this blazer for nearly 3 years. It's one of those timeless pieces that you can literally throw on top of any black, white, or neutral colored top and bam! Insta-glam. I'm so happy to have fished it out of my closet - plus - it's absolutely perfect for my Vera Bradley necklace!

WEDNESDAY WISHLIST

1   ///   2

Nothing says summer like summertime whites. While crop tops and midi skirts are owning the picnic scene, a tailored blazer can add just the right amount of class to your outdoor outfit. My favorite way to wear a white blazer this season is with skinny jeans and a floral tank or a highwaist circle skirt and fitted blouse.

Do you own a white blazer? Which is your favorite?

WEDNESDAY WISHLIST: DEJA VU

Blazer   //   Dress   //   Heels   //   Bangle   //   Tank

I have to be honest, I hesitated a lot when creating this post. Usually every Wednesday I share my latest source of inspiration with you all. Whether it's colorful clutches or thrifty jewels - there is always something new to share. This post however, is troublesome because earlier in the year I shared a Wednesday Wishlist: Stripes Edition with you. While the trend is the same, the pieces are entirely different and I believe, this really speaks to what a versatile trend this is. Whether it's during winter woes or summertime sunshine, stripes always work. I actually picked up the maxi dress on the bottom left for myself from Target last week and that was the source of my inspiration. I find myself carrying my Kate Spade tote almost daily and am absolutely obsessed. What can I say, i'm really digging the stripes right now (plus they go great with my NYX wine lipstick!)

What's your latest source of inspiration? Are you into the stripes or more of a dot person?

Happy Friday readers!
I hope you all had a fabulous week and are as ready for the weekend as I am. This weekend the fiancĂ© and I are reading down to Savannah, GA for a weekend getaway to celebrate his birthday. I love how beautiful Savannah is and the weather is supposed to be perfect. We've been talking about shooting while we are down there (it's been a while since he has shot for me) so I hope to share some stunning photos with you all next week!

For today's look I paired one of my favorite summer dresses with a subtle blazer to make it fall-ready! Can you believe I snagged this fit n flare dress on sale at Aeropostal for $12? I haven't shopped there in years, but found that they recently rebranded and have some great pieces and even better sales. Throwing a blazer on top of a summer dress is possible the simplest way transition your wardrobe to fall - and after Labor Day or not - white will always be fabulous.

What brands have surprised you recently?

BACK TO BACK: BLAZER STYLE

Top: H&M Blouse - similar here - $35
Boyfriend Blazer: GAP - similar here - $50
Faux Leather Pants: F21 - similar here - $14
Boots: Guess - similar here - $100
Necklace: H&M - similar here - $29

I had so many people mention that they loved the boyfriend blazer look, that I wanted to feature a more downtown version. Leather on leather is such a urban look, but when you pair it with a flowy blouse and tailored blazer it really sets the stage for style. Since its the end of April it will probably be the last time I get to wear a blazer & boots for a while, so here's to the sunshine. Cheers.

Orange Blazer: F21 (similar here @ Tobi for $30)
Dark Jeans: Levi (similar here @AE for $30)

I love wearing a pop of color with my wardrobe. This blazer was a fabulous
find at Forever 21 (it's amazing the things you can luck out and find there!)
It pairs well with neutral colors but also with prints- like this lovely polka dot.

What's your favorite accent color?
