We made it! Yesterday, fiance and I landed in the Big Apple and headed straight to a convention for his work. After a long day of meetings, business cards, and brochures we finally got a chance to relax and hit the town. First stop, the cutest little restaurant in the Flatiron District called ABC Cocina. My sister and her sweet boyfriend made us reservations and picked up the check since they couldn't make it down to have dinner with us for my birthday. It was such a nice gesture, but I would have much preferred their company! Luckily, next week we are headed to Philadelphia to see her graduate from business school. After dinner, we decided to head up to the Empire State Building (something we happened to always skip over when we visited NYC previously) and "WOW!" is all I could say. The view really is breathtaking! I managed to convince Sahir that we should do the audio guide which even he admitted was a good idea at the end. I love learning the history behind the places we visit - it's just so interesting to me. I'm always the one who holds up the line because I want to read all of the signs about how long the workers took to build each floor, what materials they used, etc. Whoops.

We have a full day planned for today too. Be sure to follow along on Instagram at @SimplySabrinanN

Friends, one more freaking day.
I'll be around, but laying low for a few days. Got into a car accident last night on the highway and dealing with the aftermath of getting rear-ended. Twice. I'm doing okay, but if you see me post lots of unhealthy snacks on Instagram - you know why. #comfortfood

See you tomorrow for DAY 30! Woo hoo!

GREY TUNIC + PRINTED SCARF - 30X30 - Day 3

Grey Tunic: F21 - Similar Here & Here - $45 // Pants: LC by Lauren Conrad - Similar Here - $45 //
Printed Scarf: Gifted - Similar Here - $13 // Boots: H&M - Same Here - ON SALE for $50

When I got these leather boots early last season I had stacked codes on codes and ended up getting these bad boys for around $65 and thought it was a steal. Premium leather boots for under 100?! + a tall, stacked heel, and gold hardware? I was sold, and as you can tell from my wardrobe for the past few months - they fit in nicely, making them a clear choice for my 30 x 30. When I checked back today I was stunned, shocked, ahem, excited to find that they are now on sale for $50 and there are sizes still available. Plus, if you use the stackable coupon codes 6428 + 1341 you will also receive 25% off AND free shipping. I can't make this stuff up. Your total should be around $39!
Here are a few of my favorite looks from this season with these boots: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Run, don't walk.

CHAMBRAY + FAUX FUR - 30X30 - Day 2

Chambray Shirt: GAP - Similar Here & Here - $30 // Pants: LC by Lauren Conrad - Similar Here - $45 //
Faux Fur Vest: F21 - Similar Here - $34 // Leopard Belt: F21 - Similar Here - $9 //
Shoes - c/o Fresh Lily's - Same Here - $30

So a few weeks back, I saw some of my favorite bloggers rocking Fresh Lily's shoes and I was pretty jealous. I love the flat loafer style (this is coming from someone who hardly wears flats) & how seriously comfortable they are. If that wasn't enough, the price point is amazing + Lily's is a great brand. The company's goal is to be reminiscent of your local farmer's market with lots of variety, bold colors, and low prices. I was sold when I found out that Lily's works with the National Young Farmer's Coalition, and a portion of each pair of Lily's sold goes to the NYFC. These shoes and comfortable, affordable, and stylish - and I am a big fan!

I strongly believe the Leopard should be considered a neutral which is why I decided to add these shoes into my 30x30 collection. Day two and still holding up strong! Be sure to check out my friends at Afternoon Style & Quirky Britches who are also doing the 30 x 30 challenge.

Well, I'm back! Turks & Caicos was absolutely beautiful! When we were on the cruise, we watched a comedian onboard who joked that there were about three buildings on the entire island.. well, we thought he was kidding. The place was lacking development but in the most serene of ways. Fiance and I were feeling adventurous and decided to go on a snorkeling and string ray encounter excursion. It was my first time doing either one of those things and i'm so happy that we did it. Snorkeling on the reef was such a cool way to explore the underwater world and although I was feeling absolutely terrified a bit apprehensive, the life jacket was certainly helpful. We saw all kinds of fish and the reefs on the island. Highly recommend doing this if you get the opportunity!

As far as the my encounter with the string ray was concerned, they say if you kiss a stingray, you get 7 years of good luck. Well....

Guess 2014-2021 are going to be pretty good.
