PLAID & A PUFFER VEST

PLAID BUTTON DOWN: A&F - SIMILAR HERE - $29   //   PAIGE DENIM: c/o ZAPPOS - SAME HERE - $169   //   ARIAT BOOTS: c/o ONLINESHOES.COM - SAME HERE - $280   //   PUFFER VEST: UNIQLO - SAME HERE, SIMILAR HERE - $50

Happy Monday, I hope you all missed me as much as I missed you. It was a crazy weekend with some wonderful food and even better family/friends. We hosted a welcome dinner for our bridal party on Friday evening, which was such a great experience. It had been so long since we had so many of our close friends in the same room - but if it was any indication of what the next year will be like, I can't wait! I'm looking forward to sharing pictures from the event with you on the blog sometime this week.

How was your holiday weekend?

NAVY STRIPED TOP + HUNTER GREEN VEST

TOP: JCREW - SIMILAR HERE - $50   //   VEST: OLD NAVY - SIMILAR HERE - $70   //   JEANS: AEO - SAME HERE - $35   //   BOOTS: c/o ARIAT - SAME HERE - $224   //   BAG: c/o GREGORY SYLVIA - SAME HERE - $215

It's funny how such a simple top can make things fall into place. I love this striped top that I picked up this summer at J.Crew. The subtle style pairs perfectly for fall fashion with tall riding boots and lightweight outerwear. What's your favorite go-to space?

EQUESTRIAN STYLE: Neutrals + Riding Boots

Blouse: F21 - Similar Here - $40
Pants: Khaki trousers - Similar Here - $40
Ariat Boots - c/o OnlineShoes.com- Same - $219
Rose Gold Cuff: Kore Luxe - Similar Here - $49

I didn't realize how awfully equestrian this outfit was until I saw how the photos turned out. I probably could have avoided that if I had decided to keep my hair down, but hey, go big or go home. These boots are, of course, my Ariat Sahara ones and since you guys are incredibly awesome & voted for me to win the OnlineShoes.com blogger style contest, you will be seeing a lot more of Ariat and OnlineShoes.com this season.

On another note, I have been on the hunt for a really great wine/vamp/oxblood colored lipstick, that goes well with my olive skintone. I recently saw NYX Bruised online and ordered it to see if it was what I am looking for. I'll keep you updated on my progress, in the meantime do you have any suggestions?
