You know those people who always complain about their hair? If you have straight hair you want curly hair, if you have curly you would die for straight. Yeah, i'm not one of them. I am one of the few who love my natural hair. I'm blessed with unfrizzy very sleek hair that is pretty cooperative- especially because I love styling my hair different ways (curls, braids, buns, etc).

A few months ago I decided to put a bit of color in my otherwise monotonous dark do' with a subtle touch of highlights on the bottom 1/3 of my hair. The goal was to get some dimension when I curl or braid my hair. Normally, as soon as I make a change to my hair - I regret it. Cut it short, immediately miss it long. Dye it light, wish it was dark. You get the gist. But for some odd reason, I've been pretty satisfied with this decision. Except, I recently remembered that my hair gets lighter in the summer. My natural hair does it and the color-treated part is especially sensitive to it! With spring underway, I can expect my subtle highlights to have a mind of their own. So if you notice strands of blonde, you know why.

ON THE HUNT: Hunter Green Vest

White Top: AEO - Similar Here - $9
Green Vest: Old Navy - Same Here - $50
Pants: LC by Lauren Conrad - Similar Here - $45
Clark's indigo Boots in Tan Leather:

For someone who is morally opposed to wearing camo, this is the closest that I will get to rocking military chic. When I was shopping this weekend for everyone else except me, I found this vest at Old Navy and was sold. The gold hardware really makes the vest pop and I knew I had to have it. Also, you probably notice the lack of black boots here, well, thanks to you guys voting and OnlineShoes.com I have plenty of new shoes to rock this season. These Clarks are the perfect height, color, and comfort level, completely worth it.

Tomorrow, i'll be upgrading your holiday gifts - so be sure to stop by to see what gifts NOT to give this season!

Nude Pumps: F21 - Similar Here - $50

When I first saw how these pictures turned out, I had two thoughts. 1) My hair looks great and 2) I need to put lotion on my legs.

Have you guys noticed how preposterously cold it got all of a sudden? Yesterday I was reading through my Twitter timeline and noticed one of my favorite bloggers from San Diego complaining about how humid it's been in SoCal. Are. you. kidding. me? I pretty much associate myself with a bear when it comes to wintertime. I like to shut down and just hibernate. Wake me up when winter ends. With the exception of the red Starbucks cups, holiday decorations, and the ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas movie marathon -- what does winter have to offer? And as far as i'm concerned, all of the aforementioned awesome things about winter, can be done in flannel pajamas. Am I right? Let me hear ya!

Stay warm my friends.

WRAP IT UP: Printed Wrap Dress

Wrap Dress: Similar Here - $25
Heels: Similar Here - $40
Watch: Anne Klein - Similar Here - $65
Earrings: Kore Luxe - Gifted

If you can count how many wrap dresses you have on one hand, then you are missing out. I adore wrap-dresses and how fun they are. The right dress will fit slim throughout the torso and create a soft A-line shape below the waist. On days like these I choose to pair a neutral look with a bright lip. Classic & Classy.
Where is your favorite wrap-dress from?
