Happy Sunday!
I hope you all had a great week, and an even better one ahead. We are (hopefully) getting into the last few weeks of cold weather and I am in the last few days of this Remix Challenge. I can't tell you guys how excited I am to be wearing different clothes. My wardrobe misses me... and I miss it too.

Last week, let's do this.

I never thought I would be the type of girl who liked sports. We all have to endure it, I mean if not on a Monday Night Football / Sunday Night Football / Thursday Night Football basis - then certainly on the high holidays, like the Superbowl. But things have changed recently. I find myself enjoying the sport a lot more because I took interest in the game. I asked questions (and my fiance patiently responded), I didn't change the station when I would hear sports talk, and even read a few article as they fell into my lap  ahem, newsfeed. Seems to me that taking interest in things really changes your perception of the topic. Instead of feeling like I didn't belong, I slowly became part of the group. I'm starting to think that I should take this outlook beyond the border and apply it to otherwise confusing and unappealing subjects like... cooking, politics, or Game of Thrones.

Seems to me that knowledge is everywhere, if you have someone patient enough to explain the strenuous question of, "What is going on?!" you should take advantage of that. Let's make a pact, by next Superbowl we will all actually follow the game. Deal?

DRESSED UP DENIM: Dresses + Red Cardigan

Denim Dress: Borrowed - Similar Here & Here- $34

Cardigan: J. Crew - Same Here / Similar Here- $20

Short Brown Booties: F21 (old) - Similar Here- $37

Don't you love a good clothing swap? My sister lives in Philadelphia and when she came down a few weeks ago she took all my new clothes we mutually agreed to do a swap for 3 months. I think the final number ended up being close to 10 pieces, but I still insist that my brand new neon peplum top is worth 2 (remember that piece? wait, no I haven't worn it yet -.-)

Nonetheless, a clothing swap is a great idea with family and girlfriends that are like family. I treat my clothes very well, so trading is always scary for me. I use the 'Rule of Paperback'. Let me explain - I, although rarely, will at times purchase a paperback book. If I trust someone enough to let them borrow the book [no marks and absolutely no bent pages] then they can borrow clothes. Foolproof right?
FYI: fiance is not allowed to borrow clothes from me. RIP Fahrenheit 451

Have you ever done a clothing swap? Was it a good idea?

Spring Forward, Fall Back

Top: BCBG, Jeans: F21, Shoes: Dolce Vita, Cardigan: J.Crew

I am so sorry. Being MIA is one of my many talents and although unintentional it seems to happen more often then I would hope. On the bright side, in all of my spare time from NOT blogging I have been able to partake in multiple shopping sprees (my poor credit card is not happy) and I have MANY new goodies to share with you guys- including a Kohls haul just this past weekend. I picked out a few signature items from the LC Spring 2012 collection that I adore. What are you favorite items for spring?

Color Me Happy

Silk Cami: H&M, Cardigan: J.Crew, Skirt: Love21, Shoes: F21, Belt: CR

Alright, you asked for it & here it is! My top picks for E.L.F. beauty products.
Disclaimer: There is ALWAYS a promo going on online, but I suggest going to your local Target and scoping out your fav products!

ELF Gloss in Berry Blush
This is my favorite gloss to wear with red lipstick or by itself. It compliments olive skin well!

ELF Professional Eyelash Curler
Does the trick! Simple & Safe!

ELF Professional Tweezers
I have used many cheap tweezers, but the quality is not affected by the price here!

ELF Cream Eyeliner
I swear by this stuff, will probably never buy any pencil or liquid liner again!

ELF Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzer
Many people call this a dupe for NARS Orgasm, I say- it's close enough :)

ELF Zit Zapper
I don't break out a lot, but for a dollar this certainly helps prevention. I use it after I wash my face at night!

ELF Studio Brushes
ELF has fantastic brushes, you will never find me spending $15 on one MAC brush!

Hope this helps! Happy Shopping this weekend!
