This top is just one of those pieces. You know what i'm talking about. The one that catches everyone's eye, is adorned with compliments, and makes ladies in the elevators want to ask you - where's it from? It's just one of those pieces. Could it be the color? Bright mustard is a summer staple, but perhaps it's the style. The soft peplum design is a refreshing change from the structured flare of it's relatives. Pleats are always in (schoolgirls rejoice!)

No matter what the stimulant, the reaction is there. Every fashion girl has at least 1 in their closet. What's your secret statement piece?

Today's look is the closest to spring that we have gotten in a while. I love pairing neutrals with neutrals and adding a pop of color,  it's kinda my signature and teal being my favorite color - it's only fitting. This headband was originally bought for my engagement shoot this weekend but I couldn't help but wear it just one time before. This outfit is well balanced with  the gold spikes on my sandals and a silver headband in my hair- #twotone

Now that I am blogging everyday (c'mon how proud are you?) I have realized that 1) I shop way too much at Forever 21 & 2) I need new poses.
