#InAnotherLife
I spent between 3-4 hours last night playing with graphics. What started as an innocent color palette experience turned into a full-blown "Save The Date" design. I was pretty proud of myself when I finally did go to bed around 2 AM, but realized that I will probably change my mind tomorrow and shouldn't put so much time into this. I really enjoy working with patterns, colors, and creating logos. An average weeknight consist of designing new headers, buttons, or logos for this blog and now more recently my wedding stationary. I may have become a Graphic Designer #InAnotherLife

The icons of fall fashion are slipping though our fingertips and I am holding on for as long as possible. For me, it's either boots or summer dresses - all this in between nonsense is cramping my style. Pick a season weather gods.

Yesterday, I met up with some of my favorite Atlanta fashion bloggers Kate (Kate Styled Petite). Lauren (Fashionably Lo), and Jessica (My Style Vita) for a fun brunch. We went to Urban Pl8 which is a great little spot hidden on the edge of Midtown. The worst best part is that everything on the menu is more or less healthy and even caters to those on Paleo. I can't express how great it is to get together with new friends and just catch up on everyone's adventures. And of course, we enjoyed a quick photo sess after brunch. I'm pretty sure everyone at the restaurant was utterly confused.

Since tomorrow will be a series of running around and checking your phone for constant plan changes - enjoy today. Eat something completely unhealthy, avoid the gym, and sleep enough for tomorrow. The end is near, we'll clean up the mess on the 1st.

Well, I'm back! Turks & Caicos was absolutely beautiful! When we were on the cruise, we watched a comedian onboard who joked that there were about three buildings on the entire island.. well, we thought he was kidding. The place was lacking development but in the most serene of ways. Fiance and I were feeling adventurous and decided to go on a snorkeling and string ray encounter excursion. It was my first time doing either one of those things and i'm so happy that we did it. Snorkeling on the reef was such a cool way to explore the underwater world and although I was feeling absolutely terrified a bit apprehensive, the life jacket was certainly helpful. We saw all kinds of fish and the reefs on the island. Highly recommend doing this if you get the opportunity!

As far as the my encounter with the string ray was concerned, they say if you kiss a stingray, you get 7 years of good luck. Well....

Guess 2014-2021 are going to be pretty good.
