GREY + NAVY POLKA DOT - 30X30 - Day 21

We are in our FINAL STRETCH - 9 more outfits left! I hope you are as excited as I am, because you get to see me wear something other than the same 30 pieces! I seriously beginning to understand what the phrase "light at the end of the tunnel" really means.

There are so many exciting brand partnerships and opportunities for you guys coming up on the blog. (Did you check out my Kleenex post here?) So many more new styles, types of posts, giveaways, and partnerships with other blogs that I think you will love! As always, I adore hearing from you guys. The comments & messages always put a smile on my face.

I hope you are heading into a warm weekend! We would all use some some sunshine in our lives.

FEELIN' A LITTLE BLUE - 30X30 - Day 9

Chambray Shirt: GAP - Similar Here & Here - $30   //   Red Belt: F21 - Similar Here - $23   //
Polka Dot Skirt: F21 - Similar Here  & Here - $20   //   Brown Heels: Guess - Similar Here - $43

So, the downside of refusing to get dressed on the weekends, is that my 30x30 which should take, you know, 4 weeks - is taking closer to 7-8. This is unfortunate, because I do miss the rest of my clothes. However, I did promise to complete the challenge with 30 different outfits, and i'm gonna finish it- even if it takes me twice as long to do so. The number of New Year's Resolutions i've broken within the first month is shameful - this however, won't be one of them. 30 x 30 lives on.

DOTS ON DOTS ON DOTS: Navy & White Inverted Polka Dots

Top: H&M - Similar Here - $59
Skirt: F21- Similar Here - $38
Bracelet: Old Navy - Similar Here - $20
Heels: Guess - Similar Here - $50

Is 'too matchy-matchy' a real thing? If it is, then I am dangerously close with this outfit. This blouse is an older piece that I picked up from H&M a few months ago and my more recent purchase of this navy polka dot skirt (also seen here & here - clearly I love the navy + red combo) make a great pair. The style is traditional and sleek. Very office appropriate.

Thank you to everyone who gave me great feedback on my first Instagram tutorial this week. There are many more in the pipeline and I haven't forgotten about my promised "How To Wear a Skirt as a Dress" tutorial.

Thanks for continuously making me feel like I'm not writing to myself. You are contributing to my sanity.

Today, I'm linking up at Style Elixir & Book of Leisure, be sure to check them out!

POLKA DOTS: Mixing Textures

Top: Kohls - Similar Here - $18

Skirt: Forever 21 - Similar Here - $15

Camel Heels: LC Kohls - Similar Here - $50

This has to be one of my favorite skirts because every time I see it hanging in my closet I think of a dozen ways to pair it--- but somehow it always comes back to red. There is something so classic about a navy and red combination that draws me in, and the red lip and bold bow and great additions!

This pleated top is from Kohls and when I saw the bow I knew I had to have it. Mixing textures is a great technique for Fall and I plan on trying out a few different combinations.

See how I wore this skirt in a previous post here (hello, Emma Pillsbury)
Till next time,
