It's a lovely Tuesday in Atlanta, and between all the rain we have been having, it's nice to have some cooler weather. This basic outfit is divine and so simple to put together: white, black, and brown - paired with a longer statement necklace which by the way is the newest trend in jewelry makes this a done deal. 

I wore this outfit to the Lululemon Athletica event at Howell Mill brunch. I can't wait to recap the experience for you, stay tuned!

You may remember this tunic from my 5 Style Necessities post a few weeks ago, and while I was rounding up my picks for you -- I had to get this one for me. The length is a bit long which isn't necessarily bad because I do enjoy being able to pull a cute top over leggings. Voila! However, the beautiful lace detail makes me want to  be able to tuck this top into a skirt for a more business casual look and my gut tells me that the excess fabric will make it look bulky. 

My favorite way to accessorize a simple look like this is with few bold pieces of jewelry. I opted for a thicker gold hoop earring and love the way it accents the purple in the top. 

I can't wait to play with this tunic more and hopefully it comes back in stock so you all can pick one up too!

Meet Salimah. She's a beautiful, talented, and extraordinarily smart girl. 

Oh yeah, and she's my sister. 

As you can tell we have different style, but always a few of the same elements. 

She's a northerner-- (hello, monochome) but she inspires me to add a little more 

edginess to my wardrobe. We only get to see each other once every few months 

so it's important to do the things we enjoy together like baking, watching chick 

flicks, sharing good books to read, and styling each other. Salimah is the guru when

The Boots, The Boots!

Never in a million years would I think someone of my height could pull 
off thigh-high boots. Boy, was I mistaken. These boots are the talk of the 
town and after I got through the initial bruising and blueing from the leather, 
I am ready to go. If you weren't already convinced, you will die at the price! 
$40 for Guess Boots! Now, if i can only find a pair in brown.. 

I'm hoping to combat grainy photos as much as possible, but the sun hardly 
rises by the time I leave for work so we will have to make do! 
When's daylight savings again...?
