I remember when I posted these boots on my blog a while back, and I got so many comments about them. Since they are an older purchase, I looked around the internet to find something similar to link up to - truth is, there aren't a lot out there. "Lace up boots" are often synonymous with "combat boots", which is so not the case here. A great heeled ankle boot with lace detail is hard to find. I'll be sure to keep an eye out and send out a tweet if I see any good ones. Cuffed jeans look great with ankle boots and are an easy way to make any outfit more casual. Give this new style a try, you might be surprised.
One thing that i've gotten a lot of questions about is my Nike FuelBand. I'm planning on doing a detailed post on my opinion of the band, once I hit the 1 month mark so that I can properly review the product. However, I did want to share that one of my biggest concerns prior to getting the Fuelband was accessorizing. Being a blogger, I didn't want a thick black band on my hand everyday, cramping my style. The Nike Rose Gold version was great for that, but it wasn't enough. I choose to pair my band with a variety of bracelets, bangles, and cuffs. I generally combine both gold and rose gold accessories onto my wrist and love the subtle mixed metal look. This way, the Fuelband looks more like one of the bracelets.
