This challenge was created by Kendi from Kendi Everyday in an effort to be more in "zen" with your closet instead of continuously buying things. I know that I need a serious shoppervention, and the goal of this challenge is to remind you that the key is styling, not just find pretty pieces.
The Rules:
- You pre-pick 30 pieces, including tops, bottom, sweaters, and shoes
- Do not include coats & accessories (jewelry, scarves, tights, etc)
- To add insult to injury: no shopping for 30 days
My Modifications:
- I won't be including any evening wear into my 30 x 30 remix. This is for daytime only.
- Since I generally spend the weekend in my yoga pants, I may or may not include those days in my 30 x 30. If I do decide to get dressed over the weekends, it will be from my 30 x 30 closet.
- I have a list of 10 items that I have been waiting for them to go on sale. If those 10 items do indeed go on sale, then I can buy them. (sorry, baby steps)
The Goal: Create 30 unique outfits for 30 consecutive days.

It is so hard, especially as a blogger, to not get caught up in buying new things all the time. We are surrounded by beautiful shiny things (and links to all of them) but, at the end of the day, I have to remind myself that style isn't something you buy, it's something you create. I'm looking forward to embracing my creatively and finding new ways to remix outfits.
(Plus, packing will be such a breeze after this)
- Wish me luck.
So here are my pieces:
In case you lost count - here is the breakdown:
3 Sweaters
1 Cardigan
6 Shoes
10 Tops
5 Skirts
2 Pants
2 Vests
1 Dress
